Copyright III: Using copyrighted works in your classroom and UBlearns In-Person
You work at an educational institution, so you're always covered by fair use, right? Can you post the PDFs of articles you find in library subscription databases on your UBlearns course site? What's the difference between showing your PowerPoint presentation in the classroom and posting it on UBlearns? You don't have time to evaluate all your instruction materials for fair use, so what are some alternatives that save time and side-step copyright quandaries? Whether you teach in a face-to-face classroom, solely online via UBlearns, or are designing a MOOC, this workshop is for you.
Audience: Geared toward faculty, but TAs and anyone else who creates content for instruction will take away new tips and tricks.
