Learn how to use Microsoft PowerPoint to design and deliver presentations for class, teaching, and conferences. By the end of this workshop, you will have learned:
- Elements of a good presentation
- How to avoid Death by PowerPoint
- Using PowerPoint as a container for objects
- Normal, slide, outline and notes view
- Print options: Pictures, Handouts, PDF
- How to insert pictures and shapes
- How to animating text and shapes
- The difference between animation and transition
- How to insert a YouTube or Vimeo movie that plays on both Macs and PCs
- How to use Presenter Tools
- Confidence building tips for presenting to an audience
This workshop is intended to bring beginners to intermediate level on the topics covered.
