Incorporating Open into Your Course
This session will share effective practices for utilizing open educational resources (OER) content and practices into your UB courses. In addition to dramatically lowering the cost of textbooks, open pedagogy offers opportunities for students to be meaningful collaborators in course materials. We will review tools that make that possible and discuss examples of successful open pedagogy projects at other campuses.
Whether you're brand new to OER or would like to expand your current practice with it, this session will offer tools you can put to use immediately.
Alexis Clifton, director, SUNY OER Services, will lead the discussion.
