Intro to Zotero for Sciences and Engineering

Intro to Zotero for Sciences and Engineering In-Person / Online

Learn how to use Zotero to collect, store, organize, retrieve, and automatically format references to journal articles, books, patents, and more. This introductory-level workshop will teach you how to add references to your Zotero library from major STEM research databases; how to use Zotero's PDF reader and note editor; and how to use Zotero to automatically insert and format in-text citations and end-of-the-paper references in your Word and Google Doc papers.

Please bring your own device if attending in person. You will also want to download and install Zotero (both the desktop application and the browser plugin) before the workshop; download it for free here: https://www.zotero.org/download/

Please Note: Zotero works best with Firefox and Chrome browsers.

This workshop will be offered in person and virtually via Zoom. People from all disciplines are welcome to attend, but STEM databases will be used as examples.
