Introduction to EndNote for Engineers

Introduction to EndNote for Engineers In-Person / Online

This workshop will teach you to use EndNote21, software for collecting, storing, organizing, retrieving, and automatically formatting references to journal articles, books, patents, and more in your papers. In this introductory-level workshop, you will learn how to directly download references into your own personal EndNote library from major engineering research databases like Engineering Village (Compendex), Web of Science, and Google Scholar; how to attach full-text PDFs of articles to these records in EndNote; and how to use EndNote with Microsoft Word & Google Docs to automatically insert and format in-text citations and end-of-the-paper references in your papers in over 6,000 citation styles, including IEEE, ASCE, ASME, and ACS style.

Please bring your own device if you attend in person. You will also want to download and install EndNote21 before the workshop; download it here: https://library.buffalo.edu/endnote.html

This workshop will be offered in person and virtually via Zoom. Please note, this workshop will NOT be recorded.
