AI for Good In-Person
Hear about the United Nations efforts to create a global network of innovators, researchers, teachers, and policy makers dedicated to ensuring AI is used ethically, safely, and for the good of humanity.
Cynthia Tysick, Innovative Pedagogy and Creative Spaces librarian here at UB attended and presented with colleagues at the 2026 AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva Switzerland. She'll be sharing her experiences, highlights, and video clips of various speakers like Ray Kurzweil, Joy Buolamwini (Algorithmic Justice League), Dr. Roman Yampolskiy, Tristan Harris (Center for Humane Technology), and many more. This 1.5 hour event hopes to provide an open forum for all of us to freely discuss how AI can be seen as a powerful, yet meaningful tool for shaping our future into something hopeful and positive.
Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
