Learn how to bring your map data's story to life using Excel 3D maps, also known as PowerMaps. Turn your data into a visual tour with scenes, music and narration. If your data has a time component, you can visualize data changes over time. To see an example of a finished tour, watch this tour called Exploring Manhattan with Power Map. Another example is the White House Budget. Attending this workshop might open up a whole new world of making charts for you.
This is the final day in a full week of data workshops given by internationally recognized experts presented by the University Libraries.
Workshops are offered at no charge to UB faculty, staff and students. All workshops in this series will be presented in room 310 of Capen Hall inside Silverman Library. Bring your laptop, as this room is not equipped with workstations.
Co-sponsored by The Graduate School.
