Consumer Health: Finding Reliable Health Information for you and your Family In-Person

Did you know you have special access to medical informational databases as a UB person?  When you or a family member are diagnosed with a serious disease, it’s critical to have a reliable source of in depth information.  We’ll introduce databases that offer more advanced medical information that will help you understand prognosis and treatment options, as well as other consumer health resources.  Feedback from our successful spring workshops requested that we focus on using the databases, so time will be allowed to explore the resources presented so we can assist.

This workshop will be taught in our BRAND NEW classroom in the Health Sciences Library on the first floor - room 130 -- please bring your own laptop if you have one.  If not, please email pmrose@buffalo.edu to let us know.
