Introduction to Systematic Review Methodology In-Person

Systematic reviews are rigorous evidence-based summaries of a clinical topic or question that consists of a comprehensive review and critical appraisal of the included individual studies. A systematic review is only as strong as its methodology. In this one-hour workshop, we will define the steps necessary to complete before beginning a systematic review project and discuss the methodology process. Attendees will learn the systematic review process, review the timeline of a systematic review, understand the elements of a methodologically sound systematic review, and be able to describe the search process.
