Accessibility and Branding for Librarians and staff
You should attend this workshop if you make documents, workbooks, PDFs or presentations for consumption by others.
- Tuesday, August 27, 2019
- 1:00pm - 2:30pm
- 130 Abbott Hall
- South Campus
Making your content accessible is good for everyone, and it is required by law. Learn how to make your content accessible and so that it conforms to UB's Branding and accessibility standards. Whether your content is made from scratch, acquired from others, or scanned, it must be made accessible before it is distributed.
We'll cover how to apply approved fonts, logos, colors, how to set a document's language and title, and how to ensure your pictures, images and graphic content has the required alternate text. We'll show how to use Artificial Intelligence cloud services to help you with alternate text descriptions and saving a properly tagged PDF file.
