Data Visualization with R + ggplot2

Data Visualization with R + ggplot2 In-Person

In this library workshop, we will explore the ggplot2 package for creating highly customized charts in the programming language R. This is an intermediate-level workshop, introducing the "grammar of graphics" method for building a chart from scratch. No prior experience with the ggplot2 package is required, but participants would benefit from having a basic familiarity with the RStudio programming environment for R.

All code used in the workshop will be provided in an interactive online environment called RStudio Cloud, which requires users to create a free account. Participants should plan to create an RStudio account in advance and to bring a laptop if possible (a limited number of laptops will be available to use).

Please register if you are interested in learning more about R and customizing data visualizations, no matter your experience with programming in R!
