Planning a Digital Project Pipeline

Planning a Digital Project Pipeline In-Person

The UB Libraries offers workshops and consultations on digital research projects at all stages through the new Digital Scholarship Studio & Network, on the 3rd floor of Lockwood Memorial Library. But have you ever wondered how to get started selecting the right tools for a full data analysis or digital scholarship project pipeline, from start to finish?

In this library workshop, we will talk through your specific digital project ideas and discuss strategies for discovering the right tools, software packages, or code libraries for each step in a project. We will pay particular attention to data formats, inputs and outputs required for different tools, the iterative data exploration cycle, and developing effective research questions that match the capabilities of the software you want to use for your data processing, analysis, and/or visualization.

All are welcome to attend, whether you work in the Humanities, Sciences, or Social Sciences! Much of this workshop will be dedicated to addressing your own ideas and questions.
