Digital Communications Online
This workshop will discuss digital communications strategies for digital scholarship projects and websites that need to support and educate their users to take full advantage of their resources and features. We will do some collaborative exercises using public digital humanities sites. These informal exercises will be aimed at identifying audience needs and expectations, as well as the internal needs of project members. We will then discuss tools and methods for crafting effective help and outreach materials to address these needs. Participants who would like to discuss digital communications with regard to their own projects are encouraged to email links and a description to nlwasmoe@buffalo.edu in advance of the workshop for inclusion.
