Flipgrid for Self-Reflections & Video Responses

Flipgrid for Self-Reflections & Video Responses Online

This workshop will discuss examples that can enhance student voice, build connections, while providing valuable feedback for assessment or engagement. Technology tools often provide students the opportunity to feel heard and valued. One example is Flipgrid, a free tool that allows quick and easy video recordings for students to respond to prompts or assignments. Students are encouraged to share out by using brief video clips, similar to what they experience with social media tools. Flipgrid also allows students to personalize and creatively reflect individuality with stickers, frames, emojis and backdrops in a fun, media-rich environment. Join us as we discover ways to support students in building connection and community in a variety of educational applications.
