Getting Started with Digital Storytelling with Maps

Getting Started with Digital Storytelling with Maps Online

Are you looking for a great way to tell a story with a geographic element, but not sure where to start? Have you heard of "story maps" but you don't know the best one to use? Join us to learn about two popular online story mapping tools, Knightlab Storymap JS and ArcGIS StoryMaps. We will walk through a demonstration of creating a webpage with each so you are prepared to use these in research, projects and presentations.

If you would like to follow along, please create an account on each website before joining the workshop. Both the tools are free, but if you use ArcGIS StoryMaps with a paid/organizational account you do have access to a few more features.

Please note: This is a virtual offering of the workshop held in May 2022. If you cannot attend live, please register so you receive a recording to view later.
