Turntable Instruction
- Turntables are located in the Music Library on the 5th floor of Lockwood.
- All turntables are locked and you must check-in at the 2nd floor service desk to borrow the key.
- IMPORTANT: The turntable needle is extremely delicate. When you are done with the unit, please remember to have the Cue Lever in the UP position. If the Cue Lever is not in the up position and someone accidentally turns on the unit, the needle will drag on the plate and break off.
- Improper usage of this system could damage the Swing Arm, Needle, and Record.
- 3.5mm to ¼” audio adapters are available at the 2nd floor service desk.
ROTEL Receiver
- Power ON ROTEL Receiver.
- Start Bass and Treble at 12 o’clock position. Tone can be ON or OFF depending on record. Adjust to your desired sound quality.
- Monitor: SOURCE
- Function: TUNER
Denon DP-300F Turntable
- Start silver CUE LEVER in UP position.
- *** ALWAYS USE CUE LEVER TO RAISE AND LOWER ARM!***
- For 12” records, buttons DOWN for:
- Speed: 33
- Size: 30
- Press START button and swing arm will automatically move to beginning of record.
- LOWER the silver CUE LEVER.
- To stop playing the record, RAISE the silver CUE LEVER
- Press the STOP button.
- Power OFF Receiver.
